The West Virginia Counseling Association (WVCA) is the West Virginia state branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA), which "supports professional counselors at every stage, in every setting." Likewise, WVCA is committed to the promotion and growth of the counseling profession as well as to supporting professional counselors of all specializations and work settings in the state of West Virginia.

| How to Get InvolvedJoin a committee!Professional involvement isn't limited to the Board! WVCA has plenty of opportunities for members to get involved by participating in one (or more!) of our committees. Take a look at the list and see which area(s) in which you might want to get involved. It's a great way to gain leadership experience, build your CV, and contribute to the counseling profession. Graduate student members are also welcome and encouraged to participate!
