Thank you to all who attended this year's fall conference! We hope you enjoyed the change in venue, the diverse range of sessions, and the exciting extras that made this year's conference memorable. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues while also balancing professional enrichment with personal enjoyment. WVCA extends heartfelt gratitude to all the presenters for sharing their time, expertise, and passion. Your contributions made this conference an incredible learning experience - THANK YOU! Of course, events like this are not possible without the support of sponsors and exhibitors. WVCA would like to express deep appreciation to the following organizations: Aspire to Inspire Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, LLC; Code 3 Health & Fitness, LLC; River Park Hospital; Romano & Associates, Attorneys at Law; Harmony, a member of Transformations Care Network; UniCare; Christian Counseling Associates; the Cabell County Critical Incident Stress Management Team; the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA); Graceway Counseling Center; Highland Hospital; Home Base, Inc.; and the West Virginia Behavioral Health Providers Association. Your generous support helped make this conference a success - THANK YOU! |
WVCA would like to give special recognition to our invited guest speakers, Diana Partington and Allison Rosenstock. Diana provided not only an empowering keynote focused on practical Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies for self-advocacy but also multiple breakout sessions that offered additional tools to support both personal and client-centered growth. Allison Rosenstock, the State Government Affairs Manager at the American Counseling Association, kicked things off with an opening call to advocacy that covered ACA's legislative priorities as well as strategies for both in-person and online advocacy efforts.
